Board Members
The supporting documentation for a board member's meal or lodging expense must include a complete lodging receipt, unless the traveler
- Is a member of a board whose membership is elected by vote of the people.
— or — - Serves on a board full-time and is paid a salary for that service, per Texas Government Code, Section 660.115(c).
If a lodging receipt is not required, then the supporting documentation must include the name and address of the commercial lodging establishment.
