Posting to the Grant Table

About this Procedure

The control key of the Grant table contains four required elements, which always post, and five optional elements, which may or may not post, depending on the value of the posting — level indicator.

Required Elements (Always Posts)

Required elements include:

  • Agency
  • Grant Number
  • Fiscal Year
  • Balance Type

Optional Elements

Optional elements include:

  • Grant Phase
  • Fund
  • Comptroller Object
  • Agency Object
  • Grant Object

Note: The Required Elements are always posted when grant number is present on the transaction and the T —Code updates the Grant table.

Grant Phase D47 Grant Number Profile Grant Phase Budget Level Indicator:
Y — Post Grant Budget at Phase Level
N — Post Grant Budget at Grant Level
Fund 29 Grant Control Profile Expenditure Post Level Ind & Revenue Post Level Ind:
0 — Do Not Post Fund or Object
1 — Post Comptroller Object
2 — Post Agency Object
3 — Post Grant Object
A — Post Fund, but No Object
B — Post Fund and Comptroller Object
C — Post Fund and Agency Object
D — Post Fund and Grant Object
