Posting to the Agency Budget Table
About this Procedure
The control key of the Agency Budget table contains four required elements, which always post, and eight optional elements, which may or may not post, depending on the value of the posting-level indicator.
Required Elements (Always Posted)
Required elements include:
- Agency
- Appropriation Year
- Fiscal Year
- Balance Type
Optional Elements
Optional elements include:
- Appropriated Fund
- Fund
- Organization Code
- Program Code
- Comptroller Object
- LBB Object
- Agency Object Group
- Agency Object
Note: We recommend that agencies set at least one posting-level indicator to post to this table. This ensures that all of the tables remain in balance. The easiest way to accomplish this is to set the fund posting level indicator on the D23 Fund Profile to 1 or 2. If you set all agency budget indicators to 0, USAS will not update the table.
