How Optional Elements Post to the Appropriation Table
About this Procedure
When posting a transaction to the Appropriation table, USAS must “decide” whether to post data to the optional elements of that table. To decide, the system checks the posting-level indicators for each optional element in the table. The following illustration depicts how USAS checks the posting-level indictors to determine what level of data, if any, should be posted for each optional element and posts the levels of data specified.
