Posting To The Cash Control Table

About this Procedure

The control key of the Cash Control table contains three required elements, which always post, and five optional elements, which may or may not post, depending on the value of the posting-level indicator.

Required Elements (Always Posted)

Required elements include:

  • Appropriation Year
  • Fiscal Year
  • Balance Type

Optional Elements

Optional elements include:

  • Agency
  • Appropriated Fund
  • Fund
  • Grant Number (never posted)
  • Grant Phase

Agency D23 Fund Profile Cash Control Org Level Indicator:
0 — Do Not Post
1 — Post Agency
Appropriated Fund
or Fund
D23 Fund Profile Cash Control Fund Level Indicator:
0 — Do Not Post Program
1 — Post Appropriated Fund
2 — Post Fund
Grant Number 29 Grant Control Profile Cash Control Posting Indicator:
Y — Post Grant Number
N — Do Not Post Grant Number
Grant Phase D47 Grant Number Profile Grant Phase Budget Level Indicator:
Y — Post Phase
N — Do Not Post Phase
