Note: For retirement type O, you must also complete HN1U6.
Note: The retirement system will notify the agency that an employee has the maximum service credit for retirement. This value will cause no further deduction for employee retirement or state paid retirement but will still allow retirement wages to be reported. A value in the PREVIOUSLY RETIRED FROM
field is required with retirement type M.
Note: When processing a personnel action to move an employee into or out of a hazardous duty assignment, the retirement type must be changed on H0BUN. If the discrepancy is not corrected before the final payroll is processed, it could result in an under or overpayment of retirement deduction(s) or surcharge(s).
