Purpose of the D42 Project Number Profile

The D42 Project Number Profile establishes an agency-defined Project Number for project reporting purposes.

The D42 Profile is an optional profile for agencies to use.

Proj Type
Determines type of project (interagency, grants, internal, etc.). Project types are established in the D06 Project Type Profile. (For valid values, see the D06 Project Type Profile in the USAS Coding Instructions .)
Proj Ph Budget Ind
Determines whether the project will be controlled and reported at the project or phase level.

Note: The D42 and 27 build off of each other; therefore, they must be established in order.
