27 Project Control Profile

Purpose of the 27 Project Control Profile

The 27 Project Control Profile accumulates cost and billing information for projects through Project Billing and Recovery.

The 27 Profile is an optional profile for agencies to use.

Project No/Ph
Identifies each Project. Projects not budgeted by phase are entered with a value of ‘00’ in the Project number field. Project number must exist in the D42 Project Number Profile. Phase identifies a unique time period, such as federal fiscal year. (For valid values, see the D42 Project Number Profile in the USAS Coding Instructions.)

Note: See the USAS Coding Instructions for valid values on each of the following highlighted elements.

Serv Date Ctl Ind
Determines service date control of a project.
Ex Posting Level Ind
Determines the expenditure object and/or fund level for transaction posting.
Rev Posting Level Ind
Determines the type of error message given for available grant budget: Fatal, Warning, or Ignore.
Proj Ctl Type
Determines the type of error message given for available grant budget: Fatal, Warning, or Ignore.

Note: The D42 and 27 build off of each other; therefore, they must be established in order.
