30 Contract Profile

Purpose of the 30 Contract Profile

The 30 Contract Profile establishes a contract and a corresponding contract budget. Currently, this profile can only monitor and control expenditure contracts.The 30 Profile is an optional profile for agencies to use.

Contract No
Identifies individual contracts by 10-digit numbers.
Contract Amount
Determines the dollar amount of the contract.
Budget Amount
Determines the budget limitation for the contract. Budget amounts on the 30 Profile must be whole amounts with no cents (for example, 100 or 4500).
Budget Check Ind
Controls contract budget checks to ensure expenditures and outstanding warrants do not exceed budgeted amounts. (For valid values, see the USAS Coding Instructions.)

Note: The contract number must be manually entered on each transaction. The contract number cannot be inferred by any other element in transaction entry.
