D54 NACUBO Function Code Profile

Purpose of the D54 NACUBO Function Code Profile

The D54 NACUBO Function Code Profile represents functional classifications of current fund expenditures. Levels 1 and 2 of the D54 are centrally established, and are used by institutions of higher education. NACUBO Function must be inferred on the 26 Program Cost Account Profile. It cannot be manually entered in transaction entry.

Level 1:

1000 Education and General
2000 Auxiliary Enterprise

Level 2:

1100 Instruction
1200 Research
1300 Public Service
1400 Hospitals
1500 Academic Support
1600 Student Services
1700 Institutional Support
1800 Operation and Maintenance of Plant
1900 Scholarship and Fellowship
2100 Auxiliary Enterprise Link

Levels 3 through 9 can be established by each institution of higher education.
