Step Action
1 Access HMMU1.
2 Enter R or I in the SUBCOMMAND field.
3 Enter the following fields as required:
AGENCY (Key)
PCA/INDEX (Key)
Enter the PCA/index that you wish to validate by an organization code. This code must first be set up in USAS.
ORG 1 (Key)
This field allows for editing against positions 1-3 of the organization code (displayed on HNORG). Each position is treated separately. A blank allows for any value to be used in that position of the organization code. You can use any one of the positions, or any combination of the positions. For example:
123allows organization codes with 123 in these positions.
12_allows organization codes with 12 in the first two positions and any value in the third position.
_12allows organization codes with 12 in the last two positions and any value in the first position.
___will not validate using these positions.
ORG 2 (Key)
This field allows for editing against positions 4-6 of the organization code (displayed on HNORG). Each position is treated separately. A blank allows for any value to be used in that position of the organization code. You can use any one of the positions or any combination of the positions. For example:
123allows organization codes with 123 in these positions.
12_allows organization codes with 12 in the first two positions and any value in the third position.
_12allows organization codes with 12 in the last two positions and any value in the first position.
___will not validate using these positions.
ORG 3 (Key)
This field allows for editing against positions 7–9 of the organization code (displayed on HNORG). Each position is treated separately. A blank allows for any value to be used in that position of the organization code. You can use any one of the positions or any combination of the positions. For example:
123allows organization codes with 123 in these positions.
12_allows organization codes with 12 in the first two positions and any value in the third position.
_12allows organization codes with 12 in the last two positions and any value in the first position.
___will not validate using these positions.
ORG 4 (Key)
This field allows for editing against positions 10–11 of the organization code (displayed on HNORG). Each position is treated separately. A blank allows for any value to be used in that position of the organization code. You can use any one of the positions or any combination of the positions. For example:
123allows organization codes with 123 in these positions.
12_allows organization codes with 12 in the first two positions and any value in the third position.
_12allows organization codes with 12 in the last two positions and any value in the first position.
___will not validate using these positions.

Note: At least one ORG1, ORG2, ORG3, ORG4 must have a value.

EFFECTIVE DATE (Key)
Enter the effective date for PCA/index validation against the portion of the organization code indicated.
INACTIVE DATE (Optional)
The inactive date for PCA/index validation against the portion of the organization code indicated.
4 Press Enter to process the transaction.
