Chapter 1: Positions –

HMLU1 – Functional Job Class Table

Screen: HMLU1
Prerequisites: None
Key Fields: AGENCY, JOB CLASS CODE, FUNC JOB CLASS, POSITION TYPE, EFFECTIVE DATE

Note: Use this screen to establish valid functional job class codes for the agency’s classified, unclassified and exempt positions. (This is not a mandatory table.) A functional job class may be used to break down a job class into agency-specific job classes and job titles. An agency may establish functional job classes for some job classes and not for others. When a functional job class is used, the state job class code may be inferred and the functional job title overrides the job class title.
