This depends on your agency’s internal procedures. If your agency requires completion of the forms to process reversals and reclamations in DDEP, do not submit the forms to Payment Services.

If you request Payment Services to process your reversals or reclamations, complete and submit the forms with written justification of why your agency cannot process the reversals or reclamations on DDEP. Agencies must contact Payment Services to confirm receipt of their forms.

One hour; then the user must log in again.

Yes; 7 p.m. DDEP is unavailable from 7-10 p.m. Monday through Friday. It may also be unavailable Sunday mornings when systems maintenance is scheduled.

They will process during the next business day’s nightly cycle. If Monday is a holiday when a processing cycle is not scheduled, they will process during the Tuesday nightly cycle. See the System Outages and Holidays calendar for processing cycle dates.

DDEP calculates and displays the settlement date for each payment. See Direct Deposit Payments Made in Error for detailed information.

The reversal settlement date is two banking days from the date a reversal is processed in DDEP. This date determines the deadline for agencies to notify payees their payments are being reversed, as required by NACHA.

It represents the sequence that actions were processed in for the payment.

No; Payment Search access is based on the type of payment(s) a user can process reversals or reclamations for. For example, a user with only Vendor Reversal access will receive Payment Search access to search only vendor direct deposit payments.

Payment Search allows users to search for payments issued anytime during the eight most recent fiscal years. The same payment range is available for reclamations.

No, the mask or unmask request applies to all DDEP reversal types and reclamations and all direct deposit reports for the agency.
