How to Logon to Multiple Applications Within VTAM/Switch
About this Procedure
This procedure explains how to logon to multiple sessions in VTAM/Switch.
Follow this procedure to logon to multiple applications from an online application. Follow the logon procedure in ‘How to Logon and Access the MAIN MENU’ to logon to the system.
- From an online application, press PA1.
- Press Enter.
Note: The PA1 key can be used both to move between VTAM/Switch sessions and to perform functions defined by individual applications. To use the function of the PA1 key defined by an application other than VTAM/Switch, press the PA1 key twice without interrupting keystrokes.
- Select the desired session (a session already in use may not be selected).
- Press Enter to logon to the selected session.
