How to Move From One Session to Another In VTAM/Switch
About this Procedure
This procedure explains how a user may move from session to session in VTAM/Switch.
Follow the logon procedure in ‘How To Logon and Access USAS’ to logon to the system and the procedure in ‘How to Logon to Multiple Applications within VTAM//Switch ’ to activate the multiple-session feature.
- From an online application, press PA1.
- Select the desired session either by typing the appropriate system number and pressing Enter, or by pressing the function key of the desired system (e.g., F3 for system 3).
Note: To view the system selection menu, press Enter without typing any information. Complete Step 2 after viewing the menu.
