How to Access and Use Report Help

About this Procedure

This procedure demonstrates how to access and use Report Help.

  1. Press F1 from any screen or link directly to the 90 News/Help Table.
  2. Tab to the Keyword field.
  3. Type <DAFR> and the desired report number in the Keyword field. For example, DAFR7460.
  4. Press Enter. The system will retrieve information regarding the selected report. If the information takes more than one page, type <N> in the Action field and press Enter to view the next page.
  5. Press F4 to return to the original screen if the 90 News/Help screen was accessed using F1 Help.

Example: Use report help for DAFR7400 Agency Budget Activity Detail Report.

  1. Press F1 from any screen or link directly to the 90 News/Help screen.
  2. Tab to the Keyword field.
  3. Type <DAFR7400> in the Keyword field.
  4. Press Enter.
  5. View report help for DAFR7400.

PURPOSE     : THIS REPORT IS INTENDED TO ALLOW AGENCIES TO MONITOR THEIR BUDGET 

              ACTIVITIES AT TRANSACTION LEVELS. IT IS INTENDED TO BE USED IN 

              CONJUNCTION WITH DAFR7410, THE AGENCY BUDGET ACTIVITY SUMMARY. 

SORT        : AGENCY, APPROPRIATION YEAR, ORGANIZATION LEVEL, PROGRAM LEVEL, 

              APPROPRIATED FUND, FUND, AND OBJECT (DETERMINED BY SPECIAL SELECT 1). 

SPEC SEL 1  : DETERMINES THE OBJECT DISPLAYED IN THE OBJECT COLUMN: 

              S - COMPTROLLER SOURCE/GROUP    L - LBB OBJECT 

              C - COMPTROLLER OBJECT    A - AGENCY OBJECT 

              G - AGENCY OBJECT GROUP 

SPEC SEL 2  : DETERMINES THE DATA IN THE PRE-ENCUMBRANCE/ENCUMBRANCE COLUMN: 

              E - DISPLAY ENCUMBRANCES     P - DISPLAY PRE-ENCUMBRANCES 

              B - DISPLAY BOTH ENCUMBRANCES AND PRE-ENCUMBRANCES
