Online Entry Screens
Online Entry Navigation
You must enter the screen ID on Line 1, upper left position, to navigate to an online entry screen or access the online entry screens via the TINS Update Menu (PYMENU) screen.
Once you are on a screen, you can use the Direction Message Keys at the bottom of the screen to navigate within a screen or perform other functions. The screen instructions include descriptions of the direction message keys. See Master/Mail Code Setup Direction Message Keys for an example.
Before you start online entry, have the payee/payment information from the appropriate Payment Services Forms available, including the payee number:
- 1 TIN: Based on the 9-digit Employer identification number (EIN) with prefix of 1
- 2 TIN: Based on the 9-digit Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) with prefix of 2
- 3 TIN: 11-digit Comptroller-assigned 3 TIN
- 7 TIN: 11-digit system-assigned 7 TIN
