Cancellation charges
A state agency may reimburse an employee for a cancellation charge, related to a travel expense, if the charge is incurred:
- For a reason related to state business, or
- For a reason related to state business that could not be conducted because of a natural disaster, or
- Because an employee was unable to use transportation that was paid in advance to obtain a cost savings because that employee was ill or had a personal emergency. Texas Government Code Section 660.015
