Travel Advance Payments
A travel advance payment may only be released to an employee who is on hold if the hold source agency or agencies consent to the release of the payment.
The employing agency must obtain consent before issuing the payment. The consent must be:
- In writing
- Obtained on a payment-by-payment basis
- Retained for audit purposes
