Hold Special Circumstances
Payment Card Purchases
State agencies and institutions of higher education are required to verify a vendor’s hold status for payment card purchases over $500. Emergency payments via the payment card are not subject to this requirement.
TINS is the system of record for accessing hold information for all payees and should be used to verify if a person is prohibited from receiving state payments.
