Payee Maintenance Reports
TASBYPMR: TINS Hold Bypass Indicator by Agency – Monthly Report

Overview

This report lists payee numbers with a HOLD BYPASS indicator on their mail codes, up to the date of the report. A Payee Change Request form (74-157) must be submitted to the Comptroller’s office to request that the indicator be set up or deleted.

The report is sorted by two categories and by TIN within each category, lowest number first:

  • Payee numbers and mail codes with the indicator
  • Payee numbers and mail codes where the indicator was deleted during the reporting month

Purpose

Agencies should review the report upon receipt to ensure the HOLD BYPASS indicator is still applicable where the indicator is set on the TIN/mail code:

  • If an agency identifies a TIN/mail code where the indicator is no longer applicable, the agency should submit a PCR form to the Comptroller’s office to request the indicator be deleted.
  • If an indicator was deleted in error, the agency should submit a PCR form to request the indicator be set up again.

Field Descriptions

REPORT ID
Displays the unique report number, TASBYPMR.

AGENCY NUMBER
Displays the three-digit agency number.

RUN DATE
Displays the date (MM/DD/YYYY) the report was created.

AGENCY NUMBER / NAME
Displays the three-digit agency number and agency name that requested the HOLD BYPASS indicator.

REPORT NAME
Displays the name of the report.

PAYEE TIN / MC
Displays the payee’s 11-digit TIN and three-digit mail code with the HOLD BYPASS indicator.

PAYEE NAME / ADDRESS
Displays the mail code name and address.

BYPASS IND / DESCRIPTION
Displays either:

  • 1 Annuity Net Pay, C/S Deducts
  • 2 IRS Levy, Bankruptcy

DATE IND SET
Displays the date (MM/DD/YY) the HOLD BYPASS indicator was processed.

TOTAL RECORDS ON FILE
Displays the total number of mail codes with the HOLD BYPASS indicator for the agency.

PAYEES WITH DELETED INDICATORS – CURRENT MONTH
Displays the details of a TIN/mail code where HOLD BYPASS indicator was deleted during the reporting month.

RECORDS DELETED
Displays the total number of TINs/mail codes where the HOLD BYPASS indicator was deleted during the reporting month.
