Introduction to General Provisions
Security Requirements for TINS Access

You could have inquiry and/or update access in TINS:

  • With inquiry access, you can view payee, hold and payment details for payees who are set up in TINS.
  • With update access, you can set up and update payee information.

In addition, you may be granted security to submit transactions via the nightly processing cycle as covered in the Batch Transactions tab.

You also need security for TINS restricted technical documentation on FMX to view the File Layouts and Check-Digit Algorithms (login required).

Users may have different levels of TINS security based on job responsibilities and segregation of duties.

For more information, contact your agency’s security coordinator (Comptroller user ID required).
