Corporal Pay – Texas Department of Public Safety
Background
Certain employees of the Department of Public Safety (DPS) may qualify for compensation exceeding the maximum rates set in Salary Schedule C.
Pay Amount
DPS is authorized to pay employees classified as Corporal I, II, III, IV or V, Traffic Law Enforcement, up to $3,000 per fiscal year over the maximum amounts in Salary Schedule C.
DPS determines which employees are eligible for this special pay.
