Purpose

APS 014 explains the ITV/RTI process in general for agencies.

Example

  1. Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) sells supplies to the General Land Office (GLO) and provides GLO with the RTI number.
  2. GLO uses the RTI number provided by TFC to process the payment.

TFC is the RTI agency because they receive the reimbursement/revenue.

GLO is the transaction agency because they enter the transaction using the RTI number provided. This transfers the funding from GLO to TFC.
