Organization Structure stores and reports financial information based on the business units of each state agency (divisions, departments, etc.).

Required Elements
Agency Number in the D02 Profile is required on all transactions and agency-maintained profiles. Level 1 in the Organization Code (D03 Profile) is equivalent to agency level.
Inferred Elements
Organization Structure infers five elements: ·
- Agency Type of the Titles (D53 Profile) distinguishes between agencies and institutions of higher education for reporting purposes.
- Agency Group (D12 Profile) assigns individual state agencies to specific groups for reporting and security purposes.
- GAAP Function (D71 Profile) groups together state agencies with similar duties and responsibilities for reporting purposes.
- LBB Function of the Titles (D53 Profile) Table ID: LBBF) groups and reports LBB-related agency functions.
- Cash Basis Function of the Titles (D53 Profile) Table ID: CBFN) groups and reports cash basis-related agency functions.
Optional Elements
- Level 2 of the Organization Code (D03 Profile) reports data at the level of organization below agency.
- Levels 3-9 of the Organization Code (D03 Profile) report data for the remaining agency organization.
