Instructions for the SEFA Web Application
Step 9. Initial Pass-Through Certification
The initial certification confirms the SEFA web application can accept the agency’s interagency federal pass-through records for the current reporting period. It is very important to meet this submission deadline in order to populate the SEFA Agency Pass-through Reconciliation and USAS Agency Pass-through Reconciliation reports:
- Access the Main Menu.
- Click Initial Certification.
The system automatically links to the Initial Pass-through Certification screen. - Review the certification statement on the Initial Pass-through Certification screen.
- Enter the name, title, email and telephone number for the individual responsible for SEFA.
- Click Certify Initial Pass-Through Entries.
The screen displays a message confirming the selected agency was certified along with the contact information.
Note: Agencies must complete the Initial Pass-through Certification by July 15.
