ITV Monitoring

The ITV process is complex and multi-faceted. During USAS overnight cycles, any one of the following scenarios could prevent the completion of the ITV process:

  • USAS is unable to create the system-generated ITVs, but the originating transaction is written to history.
  • Payment processing errors occur during the generation of the ITV payment, causing the originating transaction to remain on the disbursing agency’s IT file in P-Y-4 status.
  • Due to invalid RTI profiles, USAS is unable to create the system-generated ITVs.

The ITV process must be closely monitored to ensure the system-generated ITVs are successfully:

  • Created
  • Processed
  • Paid
  • Written to history
