Lesson 8: Releasing Holds

Hold Source Agency Releasing a Held Warrant

Hold source agencies can request the release of one or more warrants without releasing the payee from hold by:

  1. Completing the Warrant Release or Reinstatement Request form (00-432) , making sure to indicate the appropriate release reason(s) listed on the form
  2. –AND–
  3. Submitting the form to the Comptroller’s office (see form example in next section)
