Additional Profiles Affecting T-Codes
D31 General Ledger Account Profile
The D31 General Ledger Account Profile defines Comptroller General Ledger Accounts. Comptroller General Ledger Accounts are posted by T-Code as indicated by the ‘General Ledger Posting’ field on the 28A Profile.
The D31 Profile:
- Defines the four-digit Comptroller General Ledger Account.
- Identifies GAAP and NACUBO account classification for financial reporting.
- Identifies the normal balance of the General Ledger Account as a debit or credit.
- Identifies valid Balance Type posting to financial tables for a specific General Ledger Account.
- Provides system edits for the 28A T-Code Profile to ensure conformity with statewide reporting.
D10 Comptroller Object Profile
The centrally established D10 Comptroller Object Profile defines Comptroller Object Codes. The 28B Transaction Code Description Profile defines the range of comptroller object codes used for a T-Code. The D10 profile:
- Identifies the four-digit comptroller object.
- Identifies LBB, GAAP, and NACUBO classifications for financial reporting.
- Identifies object as an expenditure, revenue, or statistical object type.
- Contains indicators needed for the Annual Cash Basis Report.
D05 Balance Type Profile
The centrally established D05 Balance Type Profile groups and posts like transactions to financial tables. See USAS Reference for the valid Balance Types. The D05 profile:
- Identifies the financial table for a Balance Type.
- Identifies the two-digit Balance Type Code and the title for a balance type.
- Provides system edit to ensure a given BT can be associated with a particular table.
Note: The ‘File Posting Inds’ on the 28A Transaction Code Decision Profile determine Balance Types posted to financial tables.
