Balance Types
Each transaction is posted with a transaction code (T-code) that defines the general ledger accounts to be impacted. The T-code also indicates what balance types will be hit. In turn, those balance types are used in formulas to determine financial table balances (i.e., cash transfers in, cash transfers out).
The Transaction Code Decision Profile (28A) you reviewed in the Profile Screens section indicates the balance types and financial tables that are affected when you use a T-code.
