TINS Inquiry Menu Screen (INQMEN)

The TINS Inquiry Menu (INQMEN) screen provides a menu of common TINS inquiry screens. A benefit of using the INQMEN menu is that it provides a single source for transaction codes (T-codes) and names for various inquiry screens in TINS. Not all inquiry screens are listed on INQMEN as some require Line 1 navigation.

When logged into TINS, users can recall the INQMEN menu at any time by typing in the T-code INQMEN on the command line, also known as Line 1, located at the upper-left of the screen.

Note: TINS inquiry T-codes share the name of the TINS inquiry screen they represent (for example, the T-code for the INQMEN screen is “INQMEN”). See TexPayment Resource for a descriptive list of all TINS inquiry screen T-codes.

To select a screen from the INQMEN INQUIRY MENU, type in the letter associated with that screen in the ENTER OPTION field. After you press ENTER, TINS asks you for additional required and optional payee information for that screen. Users can input the information and press ENTER to navigate to the desired screen.

At the bottom of each TINS screen are function (PF#) keys used to:

• Navigate to other TINS screens
• Perform an action

Accessing INQMEN from USAS

Agency users can enter and exit TINS through the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) Session Manager screen. Users choose the system they want to access from the screen’s list of applications.

Selecting “9 TINS(P) TINS PROD ACTIVE” on the Session Manager screen opens TINS at the INQMEN menu. For more information, see the CICS Login to TINS section of TexPayment Resource.
