Direct Deposit Process Reports

Daily Reports

TINS provides custodial agencies with reports of direct deposit transactions that are processed daily and are available for the agencies to download. Agencies must coordinate their report download and delivery with their technical contacts.

When monitored promptly, these daily reports serve as a quality control tool and allow agencies to verify the appropriate direct deposit actions for their payees. Each report lists direct deposit transactions processed by the custodial agency for:

  • Setups.
  • Changes.
  • Cancellations.
  • NOC changes and cancellations.

Three reports are created by payee type. Select a report below to view a sample on TexPayment Resource. Report TAS87360 (annuitants) uses the same report layout as TAS87340 and TAS87350.

Agency staff members should obtain access to the report that corresponds to their area of responsibility. They can then use the report to verify their processed transactions and to notify their payees of any NOC changes or cancellations.

Monthly Reports

TINS also provides end-of-month reports listing payees’ direct deposit records for each custodial agency. Agencies should review these reports to determine if they are still the custodial agency for payees listed on the report. If an agency is no longer issuing payments to a payee listed on the monthly report, it should submit Direct Deposit Authorization Form 74-176 to request a change of custodial agency. Only Payment Services can process a change of custodial agency.
