Workers’ Compensation Claimants

The state of Texas must pay the cost of any examination that the Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission (TWCC) requires a state employee to submit to. If the employee elects to have a doctor of the employee’s choice present at the examination, the state of Texas must pay the doctor’s fee as fixed by TWCC.
