Miscellaneous Expenditures
Interpreters for the Deaf or Hearing-Impaired
A deaf or hearing-impaired person taking a state examination required for state employment or issuance of a state license is entitled to an interpreter, upon request. The interpreter is entitled to receive $15 for the first hour of interpreting services and $5 per hour thereafter, up to a maximum of eight hours of interpreting services per day.
