Real and Personal State Property
Damaged, Lost or Stolen State Property

A person who was entrusted with state property is liable for:

  • The disappearance of the property if it resulted from the person’s failure to exercise reasonable care.
  • Any deterioration of the property resulting from the person’s failure to exercise reasonable care to maintain and service the property.
  • Any damage or destruction of the property resulting from the person’s intentional, wrongful or negligent act.
