General Provisions

Most of the Comptroller’s office statutory authority on the format and processing of purchase vouchers comes from the statutes discussed in this section. Also discussed in this section are two key responsibilities of state agencies:

  1. Reviewing purchase vouchers for accuracy and completeness
  2. Determining the statutory authority for a payment before submitting a purchase voucher requesting payment to the Comptroller’s office
