CHG0123940 – TINS System Change
Modify Direct Deposit to Use New AVS Bank Validation
Effective Aug. 17, 2026
Introduction
TINS CHG0123940 for the Texas Identification Number System (TINS) integrated J.P. Morgan Chase Bank’s account validation service (AVS) or account confidence score (ACS) for automated clearing house (ACH) fraud monitoring.
Issue
Nacha implemented new risk management rules that require payment processors to strengthen fraud monitoring for their ACH transactions. The new rules required TINS enhancement to comply with Nacha requirements.
Solution
CHG0123940 integrates J.P. Morgan Bank’s AVS for ACH fraud monitoring. This ensures seamless connectivity with our systems to detect and analyze all transactions efficiently while maintaining compliance with Nacha’s 2026 rules.
