ACR 31042 — SPRS System Change
Effective June 8, 2012

Introduction

Effective June 8, 2012, ACR 31042 created a new comma-delimited file of the exception messages generated during Standardized Payroll/Personnel Reporting System (SPRS) nightly personnel/payroll processing.

Issue

SPRS agencies needed access to a condensed version of the exception messages that were provided on personnel and payroll Exception Transaction Listings (SPRR000-01 through SPRR999-01), Payment Record Exception and Balancing (SPRPWPF-01) and Agency Document Status (SPRPSTA-01) reports. This new analysis tool will assist agencies in monitoring their exception transactions and allow them to more easily identify where correcting transactions need to be resubmitted.

Solution

A comma-delimited file is now produced listing all exception messages generated during SPRS personnel and payroll processing, as well as the status of each personnel batch or payroll document submitted to SPRS.
