Program Cost Account (PCA) Infers Other Information

The Program Cost Account (PCA) Profile (26) controls updating of the program/strategic structure. This structure is built according to the General Appropriations Act (GAA) and allows the Legislative Budget Board (LBB) to track an agency's revenues and expenditures at the goal, objective, or strategy level. The PCA updates the structure at the lowest level.

Depending on how an agency sets up this profile, this screen may also automatically update the fund, appropriation number, index, project, and grant number. This reduces the data entry required during transaction entry.
