Lesson 9: Bankruptcy Records in TINS
Recalling, Adding, Changing and Deleting a Bankruptcy Record – BKRUPD
Use the TINS Bankruptcy File (BKRUPD) screen for all bankruptcy actions. BKRUPD can only be accessed by entering the T-code BKRUPD on Line One.
As previously stated, a bankruptcy record can only be added in TINS if the payee or other entity is on state hold.
Begin on BKRUPD by recalling the payee TIN. Once recalled, a record can be:
- Added
- Changed
- Deleted
The following BKRUPD screen examples highlight the required data entry fields for recalling, adding, changing and deleting a bankruptcy record.
