FMQuery Business Intelligence Tool

Note: The Comptroller’s office is upgrading FMQuery to version 4.3 of Business Objects. Training videos are available available for both versions at BusinessObjects 4.1 Tutorials and SAP BusinessObjects 4.3 Training.

The Business Intelligence (BI) team will upgrade the payroll and SIRS reports from the current version of BusinessObjects 4.2 (BO 4.2) to BusinessObjects 4.3 (BO 4.3) this June. The results from any report run in the BO 4.3 environment will be identical to the results from the corresponding report run in the BO 4.2 environment, and current users will use their same login credentials.

On June 24, 2024:

  • The BO 4.3 Payroll reports will replace the 4.2 versions.
  • The BO 4.3 SIRS reports will replace the 4.2 versions.
  • BO 4.2 reports will be decommissioned and no longer available for access.

New users needing access to this application should follow request protocols through their agency security coordinator.

FMQuery is a business intelligence tool for authorized users of the statewide financial systems. It is part of the Comptroller’s initiative to establish an enterprise warehouse for the state’s data. Two applications of the platform are now available.

Note: The Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) uses the same business intelligence tool for many reports that are available to agencies. For more information, see Reports on the CAPPS topic page.
