Report 940 USPS User List
This report displays each person with access to the production region of the Uniform Statewide Payroll/Personnel System (USPS).

| Additional Notes | Y will be deleted once report is run. W and M will cause the report to run automatically every Friday or last work day of month. In addition, the report can be run to mask the user's Social Security number (SSN) by entering a Y next to the MASK SSN ON SECURITY REPORTS field. Once Y is entered, it will remain and will mask the SSN each time the report generates. |
Report Headings
- USER ID HR2.OPER
- Displays the user's user ID.
- NAME HR1.NAME
- Displays the user's name as it appears in RACF.
- SSN HR1.OPERSSN
- Displays the user's SSN or XXX-XX-XXXX.
- EMPLOYEE STATUS DERIVED FROM H0B
- Displays the user's employment status: active, on LWOP, terminated – MM/DD/YYYY, or non-employee. Access should be reviewed for all terminated employees.
- PAYROLL APPROVE DERIVED FROM HO6
- Displays a Y when the user has the ability to release and approve online payrolls using HSCU3.
- PROFILE HR2.PROFILE
- Displays the profile assigned to the user. This identifies the user's online access.
- 2ND ID DERIVED FROM HR1
- Displays a Y when the user has multiple log on IDs. A person who needs both update access to leave accounting for a specific organization code and inquire access to the entire agency, must use a second ID. This is the only way to handle this request without granting update access to the entire agency. Additional uses can include users who require access to more than five organization codes or location codes.
- PRIOR CYE ACCESS HR1.MULTIMILL
- Displays the level of access the user has to the prior calendar year end files (M3YY – Option 15 from USAS menu) compared to their access to the current calendar year-end files (M3LL – Option 6 from the USAS menu).

- Displays the restriction code if restrictions are applicable.
AGY Agency (not listed only access is to primary agency) ORG Organization Code LOC Location Code/Extended Location Code - USER RESTRICTIONS DERIVED FROM HR1
- Displays the user's access restrictions, if applicable.
AGY Up to five agency numbers. ORG One organization code broken into four parts. LOC One location/extended location code broken into two parts. - L-O GRP HR1.LOCKOUTGRP
- Displays the lockout group assigned to the user, if applicable.
- TOTAL USERS WITH USPS SECURITY
- Displays the total number of users with USPS security.
