Report 577 Fiscal Year Job Class/Functional Job Class Code Rollover
This report is automatically run during the job class rollover at FYE and will display the roll results. Either a 09/01/XXXX record will be inserted on H7OU1 and HMLU1, if applicable, for the new fiscal year, or it will error off triggering a message which will print on the report.

| Additional Notes | This report can be run as many times as needed to complete the job class rollover. Entries can be made directly on H7OU1 and HMLU1 in lieu of requesting this rollover. The main benefit of this is that a rollover request takes over night to process, whereas an entry online is immediate. This is helpful if time is an issue. This report must be requested for SPRS agencies prior to processing their fiscal year rollover records. |
Report Headings

- Displays the USPS database effected with this rollover.
- JOB CLASS H7O.JOBCLASS, HML.JOBCLASS
- Displays the job class code of the record effected.
- FUNCTIONAL CLASS HML.FUNCLASS
- Displays an agency-defined four-digit code assigned to a job class code that uniquely identifies the job's function. This field does not display if no functional job class codes are established on HMLU1.
- TABLE TYPE TOTAL SLG, SLR, SAA, SAT, SAB FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
- Displays the table type of the record.

- Displays the position type of the record. This field does not display if no functional job class codes are established on HMLU1.
C Classified U Unclassified E Exempt - PAY GROUP H7O.JCPAYGRADE
- Displays the pay group of the record.
- EFFECTIVE DATE H7O.HISTORYDT, HML.HISTORYDT
- Displays the effective date of the record.
- INACTIVE DATE H7O.JCEVALDT, HML.FCINACTDT
- Displays the inactive date of the record.
- STATUS FLAG DERIVED FROM H7O
- Displays the action performed on the record. 1 indicates an insert and 0 indicates a replace, except when 00/00/0000 dates are listed, then 0 indicates that no action was completed.
- ROLLOVER RESULTS DERIVED
- Displays the results of the rollover. All error messages need to be researched and corrected.
The message, JOB CLASS ROLL IND WAS SET TO "N," indicates that the indicator on HMQU1 was changed from Y. No action is necessary. - TOTALS DERIVED
- Displays the total number of records read, updated, and inserted for each of the databases effected.
