Report 527 Employee History Out of Balance with Year-to-Date Totals

This report is a reconciliation between two USPS databases. It compares tax history from H0NT1 to the current year-to-date totals on H0ATB and H0ATC. This report is part of the period-end reporting structure, thus it can be set up on HPRPT as a month-end, quarter-end, or year-end report.

Be aware that if the report is requested ad hoc, timing issues could cause employees to show up on the discrepancy report erroneously. If the report is scheduled as part of the period-end process, H0N and H0A can be accurately compared without any timing issues to cause problems.

Report Headings

FROM/THRU HNKPA
Display the warrant date range used for the reporting period.
EMPLOYEE NO H0H.EMPLOYEENO
Displays the employee's SSN.
EMPLOYEE NAME HID.RPTNAME
Displays the employee's name.
TAX UNIT H0H.TAXUNIT
Displays the employee's tax unit.
STATE CODE H0N.STATECODE
Displays the state code of the employee's primary work location.
FIELD NAME H0A
Displays the field name from the H0A database that has the discrepancy.
H0A AMOUNT H0A
Displays the amount in the H0A database.
H0N AMOUNT H0NT1
Displays the amount in the H0N database.
DIFFERENCE DERIVED
Displays the difference between the H0A amount and the H0N amount.
