Report 525 Functional Job Class Listing

This report displays the job class codes that have an agency defined functional job class code associated with it. It automatically runs during the job class code rollover at FYE, but can also be requested as needed throughout the life cycle of a functional job class.

Functional job classes are an optional feature that an agency may use to further define job classes. HMLU1 is used to establish and maintain these relationships.

Additional Notes This report automatically generates (with Sort 2) when the job class rollovers requested on HMQU1 and only provides a report when functional job classes are found. When an agency requests this report on HNKPC and no active functional job classes are found, the report will generate the report heading and message indicating “No Active Functional Job Classes Found”.

Report Headings

Displays the beginning and ending dates of the requested period.
POSITION TYPE HML.POSTYPE
Displays the position type of the job class(es) listed:

JOB CLASS HML.JOBCLASS
Displays the job class code for each functional job class code listed.
FUNC CLS HML.FUNCLASS
Displays the user-defined code used to further break down a job class into agency-specific job classes and titles.
JOB CLASS TITLE H7O.JCTITLE
Displays the state job title of the state job class code listed.
FUNCTIONAL TITLE HML.FCTITLE
Displays the job title of the functional job class code listed.
TABLE H7O.JCPAYTABTY
Displays the pay table of the job class listed.

Displays the pay group of the job class code, and the pay step of the job class code listed, when applicable.

Displays the EEO code of the job class code listed.

Displays the EEO code of the functional job class code listed.
FLSA STAT H7O.JCFLSASTAT
Displays the FLSA indicator of the job class code listed.
FUNC FLSA ML.FCFLSASTAT
Displays the FLSA indicator of the functional job class code listed.
JC TYPE H7O.JCBENCHM
Displays the job class type of the job class code listed.
MSR DERIVED FROM HMLU1
Displays the code used to identify managers from regular staff. Used by report 509 – Management to Staff Ratio Report required by the State Auditor's Office. The value displayed in this column indicates which values are allowed for the functional job class. If no value was entered on HMLU1, the column will display “All” indication all MSR values allowed for this functional job class.
