Report 053 Hourly Adjustment Process for Actual Time Worked

This report adjusts accruals for hourly employees. When leave is first accrued at the beginning of the month (usually by Report 156), hourly employees accrue according to the number of hours the system expects them to work (based on the FTE). Once all hourly payrolls (both regular and supplemental) have been run for a month, run Report 053 to adjust the accruals (if needed) based on hours actually worked as found on H0HU1. If an employee did not work all regularly scheduled hours, Report 053 will reduce the employee's accruals on HMCU1 proportionally.

For part-time hourly employees who worked more hours than normal, accruals will be increased; however, a part-time employee cannot accrue more leave than a full-time employee.

Note: If the hourly employee's accrual flag is not an A on HMCU1 at the time Report 053 is run, the employee leave accruals will not be adjusted by Report 053.
