HRSDL, HUADL, HUATX – Deleting Batches Online

Screen: HRSDL, HUADL, HUATX
Prerequisites: Entry on batch screen.
Key Fields: AGENCY, BATCH

Note: The online batch delete process allows the user to delete an entire batch or range of batches, eliminating the need to delete each page of the batch.

Step Action
1 Access HRSDL by agency number.
2 Enter the following fields as required:
AGENCY (Key)
BATCH (Key)
FROM BATCH (Required)
Enter the batch number from which you wish to begin deleting.
TO BATCH (Required)
Enter the batch number up to which you wish to delete.
DATABASE (Optional)
 
3 Press Enter. This automatically links you to HUADL, where the following information displays:
AGENCY (Display)
DATABASE (Display)
BATCH (Display)
 
4 Enter X in the SUBCOMMAND field next to the batch you wish to review.
5 Press Enter to link to the selected batch screen.
6 Press Enter to return to HUADL.
7 Enter D in the SUBCOMMAND field next to the batch you want to delete.
8 Press Enter to link to HUATX. The following fields display:
AGENCY (Display)
DATABASE (Display)
BATCH (Display)
 

The system also displays the message A REQUEST HAS BEEN MADE TO DELETE THIS BATCH and a request for deletion confirmation.
9 Enter a value regarding the batch deletion request.
DELETION CONFIRMATION (Required)
Blank field Return to HUADL for further processing
Y Delete all rows associated with this batch
N Ignore the delete request

Press Enter One of the following messages appears in the ACTION TAKEN field: DELETED, HRSUB DELETED or DELETED, HRSUB STILL EXISTS.

Note: The data is deleted but continues to appear on HRSDL until exiting the screen. If multiple batch numbers exist on various databases, HRSUB must be rebalanced. The user must access HRSUB (see Balancing and Releasing Pay Transactions for a Single Batch Screen Release). If a unique batch number is deleted, HRSUB is also deleted.
11 To delete additional batches identified on HUADL, press Enter and repeat steps 3 through 10.
