Purpose

The purpose of these procedures is to assist agencies in reviewing existing profiles in the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) so that correct appropriation information and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) reporting information are reported at all levels.

Agencies should review these procedures along with the related reports. Please contact your financial reporting analyst with any questions.

Highlights

  • The profile review procedures include instructions for ordering and analyzing several reports used by agencies in preparing their annual financial reports.
  • Your agency will not receive a Report Type exception if the report is blank. If you receive an exception report, you may request a Detailed Accounting Financial Report (DAFR) for more detailed information. Detail reports require overnight processing.
