CHG0116553 – SPRS System Change
Protects Personal Information of All OAG Employees
Effective Sept. 1, 2025

Introduction

Effective Sept. 1, 2025, the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) becomes a protected agency and all current and former employees’ personal information becomes protected.

Issue

Currently, the OAG protects only employees in certain divisions. Effective Sept. 1, 2025, the OAG becomes a protected agency. All current and former OAG employees’ personal information will be protected, so data conversions for protect and data release indicators are required to implement this legislative change.

Solution

Agency protection logic already exists in the core system. Agency 302 will be added as a protected agency.

Note: Current and former employees of the Office of the Attorney General will have their personal information protected in all statewide HR/payroll systems, both active and decommissioned. CAPPS agency level 1 users should see CSD ticket 69808 for more information on the changes in CAPPS. Institutions of higher education will have messages included in the HRIS report output indicating that address or data release indicators were updated for any of their employees whose data is now protected.
