ACR 44675 — SPRS System Change

Introduction

Application Change Request (ACR) 44675 modified the Standardized Payroll/Personnel Reporting System (SPRS) to create the Dental Discount Program deduction effective Sept. 1, 2014.

Issue

The Employees Retirement System (ERS) allows employees the option to participate in a new post-tax Dental Discount Program. Unlike the other ERS dental deductions, Opt Out money cannot be applied towards the Dental Discount Program.

Solution

This ACR established deduction code DDP for the Dental Discount Program. The unique vendor ID for this deduction is 33273273277036.

Screen/Report/Process/Transaction

• The Personnel/Payroll modules were modified.
• Report SPRRERS-01 (Benefit Totals Reported to ERS) now includes a deduction for the Dental Discount Program.
